Commission intake

Photography
requirements.

HOUSESEEN currently accepts professionally photographed, vacant interiors only. This protects the architecture, keeps the process focused, and allows every finished image to meet the same standard.

01

Vacant interiors

Rooms must be empty and free of people, furniture, boxes, décor, and personal belongings. HOUSESEEN does not currently provide furniture removal or decluttering.

02

Professional photography

Submit original photographs made with a professional camera, or files of equivalent technical quality. Phone photographs, screenshots, listing-page downloads, and messaging-app copies are not accepted.

03

High-resolution originals

JPG originals with a long edge of at least 3,000 pixels are recommended. Images should be sharp, clean, and free of compression artifacts or watermarks.

04

Level and well exposed

Verticals and horizons should be controlled, with balanced exposure and recoverable detail in both the room and windows. Avoid severe wide-angle distortion.

05

Architecture remains

Walls, floors, ceilings, windows, doors, built-ins, fixed lighting, and the original camera position are treated as the truth of the photograph and are not redesigned as part of staging.

06

Photography review

If an image does not meet the photography requirements and cannot be used for production, the affected image will be refunded before work begins.

Before submitting

Vacant. Original.

If all three are true, the photography is ready for review.
